Adrian Zeqja is a 22-year-old London-based photographer
whose creative journey began at the age of 14.
Initially drawn to documenting youth and queerness,
his early work explored themes of identity, intimacy, and the vibrancy of subculture.
As his career developed, Adrian immersed himself in fashion photography,
starting with street style at London Fashion Week in 2018 and 2019,
and later transitioning to runway photography for London Edge.
His passion for fashion photography also led him to collaborate with sustainable fashion brands
like Fuck Fast Fashion, and participate in Bio Fashion Week,
where he explored the intersection of style and environmental consciousness.
Adrian holds a distinction in Film Media Production from the BRIT School,
where he honed his skills in visual storytelling and creative direction.
During his time at the BRIT School, he expanded his creative scope
and began working as a music video director,
further sharpening his ability to capture dynamic visuals and conceptual narratives.
Today, Adrian’s practice has evolved into a more conceptual space,
focusing on liminality, memory, and the emotional weight of space.
Working primarily with cyanotype and other alternative processes,
his current work merges personal narrative with experimental image-making,
often blurring the lines between photography and contemporary art.
He has exhibited in several group shows across London,
including Punk Usual Pines curated by Elena Ferreras at TURF Projects,
where he came close to selling out his entire collection.
Other exhibitions include All I Ever Wanted Was Everything curated by Angela Adley
and Assortments curated by Connie Collyer,
both held at Safehouse in Peckham.
Adrian’s creative philosophy is simple:
“Be scruffy, be unpolished, life is messy and it’s supposed to be messy.
As long as you're honest and have love in your heart, you'll be alright.”
This ethos drives his work,
which celebrates imperfection and the beauty found in vulnerability.
